An Evening of Marian Prayer and Song

In the month of October dedicated to Our Lady and the Holy Rosary, St. Andrew Music Ministry will present music and meditations dedicated to the Blessed Mother. The program entitled “Ad Jesum per Mariam” (To Jesus through Mary), will feature music from different time periods and will be combined with prayer and meditations. The parish choir, chamber choir, instrumentalists, and soloists will also lead the congregation in traditional Marian hymns.

Sing We Now of Christmas – Annual Christmas Concert

Delight in the sounds of the season with the Adult Choir, Youth Choir, Cherub Choir, Tone Chime Choir, and Chamber Choir! The concert will feature an orchestra and many styles of seasonal music.
The concert is FREE and all are welcomed to join in this wonderful evening of Christmas spirit!

The Crucifixion – Lenten Concert
A Meditation on the Sacred Passion of the Holy Redeemer

It was only natural that the powerful story of Our Lord’s Passion should be set to music, a practice that is centuries old. Composed in 1886-7, Sir John Stainer’s work uses chorus, soloists, and colorful organ accompaniment to tell the story of our redemption. The Choir of Saint Andrew’s will perform this deeply moving oratorio in hopes of making the beauty and power of the Gospel narrative better appreciated and more meaningful.
